Eine neue WIP Version von Supermodel ist erschienen. Supermodel emuliert die Sega Model 3 Hardware und liefert bereits gute Ergebnisse bei der Mehrheit der verfügbaren Spiele. Die Binaries sind noch nicht verfügbar.


A new WIP version of Supermodel has been released. Supermodel is a new emulator for the Sega Model 3 Hardware in an early stage of development. The binaries aren´t available yet.

Endlich mal eine Gelegenheit, die Emu-France-Version mal auszuprobieren. Folgende Unterschiede sind mir verglichen mit der Version aus dem Supermodel-Forum aufgefallen: Der Musik-Bug in Sega Rally 2 wurde teilweise behoben; es werden nicht mehr zwei Musikstücke gleichzeitig abgespielt (aber damit werben die ja auch schon des längeren). Außerdem erstellt der Emulator für gewöhnlich eine Bitmap-Datei mit den Texturen des zuletzt gestarteten Spiels - bei der Version von Emu-France nicht. Noch ein Wort zum Sound-Problem der EmuCR-Fassung: Die Emu-France-Version ist davon nicht betroffen.
Jetzt noch etwas zur Version r734: Wirklich aufgefallen ist mir nur, daß die Schatten-Glitches von Virtua Striker 2 in Ordnung gebracht wurden.
