Ein weiteres Update für den Arcade-Emulator MAME wurde veröffentlicht, die Änderungen sind im erweiterten Text zu finden.
Das Update sowie den Source gibt es bei MAMEdev.

Corrected some YM2151 frequencies in the dooyong.c driver. [Mamesick]

Major update to the STV driver: [Mariusz Wojcieszek]
* sh2: introduced cpu_readop16() for opcode fetching
* stv: added idle skip to various games
* stv: optimized master/slave sh2 syncing
* vdp1: fixed sprite transparency for RGB sprites
* vdp2: added linescroll
* vdp2: added 16x16 15bit tiles (fixes missing gfx in znpwfv)
* vdp2: optimized tilemap scrolling, bitmaps and framebuffer drawing
* vdp2: fixed page and map calculation
* dsp: fixed some bugs making vfremix run up to the end of second match

Fixed sprite-tilemap collision detection in Taito SJ driver when the screen

Fixed some logical errors in sprite handling and palette reads, DMA timing,
and one invalid opcode in the NES drivers. [Rob Bohms]

Cleaned up and standardized usage of M_PI constants in the code.

Hat sich mal jemand nach dem Update den ST-V-Treiber angetan? Ich sag nur DER HAMMER Smile

Paar schnelle Testdaten mit Cotton 2 auf einem AMD XP2400@2100MHz ohne Frameskip:

Intro (Textmodus)
0.102u3 37-38% / 22-24FPS
0.102u4 100% / 60FPS

Intro (GFX-Modus, vor Münzeinwurf)
0.102u3 22-29% 13-15FPS
0.102u4 98-100% 60FPS

Intro (GFX-Modus, nach Münzeinwurf)
0.102u3 17-18% / 10FPS
0.102u4 88-94% / 52-56%

Ingame
0.102u3 10-21% / 12-14FPS
0.102u4 78-84% / 47-52FPS

Und korrekte GFX ingame gibt's jetzt auch, wahrscheinlich dank RGB sprite transparency.

Die bessere (gar kein Asudruck) Performance wird bei den 3D-Games net so in Erscheinung treten, aber die hab ich hier eh net zum testen.

Purikura Daisakusen hatte bei mir erst 3FPS und jetzt 60 auf nem Pentium@2575Mhz net schlecht, jetzt guck ich aber erstmal was Guardian Force und Radiant Silvergun bringen, soviel gute Shooter hat st-v nämlich auch nicht wie mir hier scheint:

Jaja, Radiant... im MAME noch net unterstützt und SSF läuft auf meiner CPU net. Bleibt "nur" Wink Ikaruga auf'm DC...
