Wine - ist eine Open-Source implementation des Windows API für Linux -und ist in einer neuen Version erschienen.


Wine is an Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X and Unix.


Wine 0.9.8 was released today. Some bug fixes for problems affecting some common applications may be in this release, including one for Photoshop. The following major additions were noted:

* Better Web browser support.
* Beginnings of a Wordpad application.
* Many richedit improvements.
* A number of Direct3D fixes.
* A few more options in winecfg.
