The Glide wrapper from Hacktarux, included in the Nintendo64 Graphics Plug-In Glide64 has been updated.

Those shots were taken under 1964 0.8.5, with HWFBE, and software depth buffer rendering. These were used to show some more code optimizations for texture copying I worked on last night, adding on from my previous work. It seems already, that the code I made publically available already made some significant performance boosts on NVIDIA video cards (like Paper Mario, Sin and Punishment, Donkey Kong 64, and Perfect Dark for instance)
For PD nightvision effects, I reckon we will be able to have decent running framebuffer effects, when the code is more optimized. So, yeah, some day eventually, it will be all done.

EDIT: Is the speed as shown in the attached PD screenshot what you consider to be "playable"? Besides, the current changes I made to the wrapper already make a difference in nightvision goggle rendering speed.
Also, I checked out the LoZ:OoT Lens of Truth. Seems to work fine (MM´s LOT has the issue)

EDIT 2: Updated wrapper with recently researched optimization methods.

Changes
- Optimized hardware framebuffer texture creation (thus, affecting speed)
via implementing a glGenTextures/glDeleteTextures system [old remove_tex/add_tex system might not be needed anymore, if there are no errors using this new method])

I´ve tested out these optimizations (using 1964 0.8.5) on :
PD (camspy now runs full speed, and sound no longer desyncs or is affected)
(IR scanner now at a completely playable speed)
(nightvision goggles work pretty well, speed depends on area and no. of enemies )
(X-ray scanner and FarSight gun work great, speed depends on area)
(motion blur works perfect)
(cloaking seems to no longer bring up any "incomplete_attachment errors")
LoZ: MM
(no noticeable ill effects with the optimizations)
BT
(all FB effects work fine for me)
CBFD
(speed of motion blur now perfect)

As always, if there are any problems (like black-and-white texture problems, "incomplete_attachment" errors), let me know
