PSPKVM Test Builds ¶

There are currently a few ´unofficial´ or test builds up, for testing various features.

(Note: these are generally in .tgz format--or gzipped tarballs. Notes on handling these, if you´re new to them, are here.)

0.5.4 Test 6 (Uploaded Oct. 5, 2009) ¶

The binaries are here (CFW build) and here (FW 1.5 build). This is the previous test with the addition of an in-GUI configuration system--as of this release, it allows you to configure the virtual keyboards and font system setups (these values were formerly configured in the .ini file).

So, in total, this build has:

* AMS folder system
* 14-font system--provides bold, italic, bold/italic for all standard faces, a utility font allowing faster VK displays, a fallback font slot for a pan-Unicode font or a large Han set, and a (hopefully) faster cache. In this package, fonts are already provided for these.
* Greek, Cyrillic, advanced diacritic and symbol support for the semichordal board.
* In-GUI configuration of TrueType system, virtual keyboard setup.

As of this build, there are no known major issues with the folder system or FreeType support.

* Fix for disappearing folders/midlets when moving folder to itself
* Fix for half-missing check on marked items when cancelling rename
* Support added for using semichordal board with FreeType off

As of this build, there are no known major issues with the folder system or FreeType support.
