Hallo zusammen,

ich hab mal ein paar Fragen zur Installation des FS-UAE. Auf der Website gibt es ja mehrere Versionen des Programms.

U.a. eine Installer-Version und eine Zip-Version (mit Launcher und Arcade).
Welche Version ist Eurer Meinung nach vorzuziehen?
Ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass man bei der Installer-Version kein Zielverzeichnis auswählen kann. Das Programm würde "kreuz und quer" in alle möglichen Verzeichnisse (u.a. Teile ins Windows-Verzeichnis) installiert.
Stimmt das?

Und wenn ja, kann man bei der Zip-Version alle Dateien in ein (selbstbestimmtes) Verzeichnis installieren?

Kann man evtl. den FS-UAE auf einen USB-Stick installieren?

Der Installer installiert das Programm ohne Nachfrage unter AppData\Local des User Verzeichnis. Ich glaube dieses Vorgehen ist eine "Unsitte" übernommen aus der Linux Welt.

Ich würde definitiv zur portablen/gezipten Version tendieren. Einfach entpacken und los gehst, auch auf einem USB-Stick.
