Vor allem gibt es aber neue WIP-Seiten.

WIP news for 25th, 26th Jan 2005
This is a general overview of MAMEdev activity, it may not be 100% complete.
(26th Jan 2005)
Derrick Renaud and Nicola Salmoria have been bouncing ideas off each other over how to correctly emulate the sound in the qix driver.
Nathan woods made the following improvements to the debugger
- Adds a ´source´ command, that reads in a set of debugger commands similar to the UNIX shell command of the same name
- Added a debug_trace_printf() call, for use during debugging to emit text into a trace file
- Petty compiler warning fixes
Olivier Galibert fixed the problem pointed out by Angelo Salese the previous day.
ElSemi added a kludge to the Crystal System driver to stop it crashing on exit from test mode.
(25th Jan 2005)
Tormod Tjaberg added Golden Axe RODA (Japan) set to the Sega System 32 driver, the old ´Japan´ set was renamed to ´World´ as it wasn´t a true Japanese set.
Some discussion took place on possible wrong timings in the 6502 CPU core.
Nicola Salmoria added the Japanese version of Superman to the taito_x driver.
Angelo Salese pointed out a problem with palette_get_color() which was causing some wrong colours in ST-V games, for example the RSG title screen.
Sebastien Volpe fixed the problems caused by the changes he made to the kaneko16 driver in u4.
WIP for 27th Jan 2005
A summary of the news from this morning.
(27th Jan 2005, before 16:00)
Aaron Giles fixed some issues in the Memory System relating to how mirrors are handled, allowing proper mirroring to be emulated in the Sega System16A and the Hyperstone core.
Aaron also cleaned up the Tilemap code, removing some obsolete code used to handle orientations from before MAME required the OSD layer to rotate the display instead.
Aaron´s 3rd update for the day was an update to the Sega System drivers as listed below:
segas16a:
* added proper mirroring for the memory map
* fixed sense of Time Scanner cocktail DIP
segas16b:
* fixed sense of Time Scanner cocktail DIP
machine/segaic16:
* added support for 3 multiply chips and 3 divide chips
* fixed timer/compare chip implementation to match real PCB
vidhrdw/segaic16:
* added tilemap flipping support
* added sprite flipping support for 16A and 16B sprites
(external submission) Mamesick forwarded some NeoGeo video hardware emulation changes/improvements from an anonymous contributor which remove a hack previously used for kof94 and fix the auto-anim speed. He also fixed a few minor text errors in MAME
Nicola Salmoria fixed the Water colour and crash in Popeye by correctly masking the tile attribute.
