Der Multi-System Emulator Mednafen für Mac OS, Linux und Windows wurde aktualisiert.


Mednafen a multisystem emulator for Mac OS, Linux and Windows has been updated.

  • SS: Implemented more complete emulation of SCSP's buggy linear interpolation on FM carrier slots.
  • SS: Fixed a minor VDP1 rendering inaccuracy with non-rectangular sprites and polygons.
  • SS: Fixed excessive CPU usage during the FMV in "Dark Seed II".
  • SS: Fixed hang after defeating the final boss in "Rayman".
  • SS: Fixed hang after the Meribia singer's singing in "Lunar".
  • SS: Fixed missing graphics during the attract mode in "Virtua Cop".
  • SS: Fixed garbage horizontally-stretched sprite in the Christmas-themed stage in "Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams".
  • SS: Fixed dialogue text truncation in "Senken Kigyouden".
  • SS: Significantly reduced graphical glitching in "Virtua Fighter" and "Virtua Fighter Remix".

Ich war mal so mutig. Die 64-Bit-Version läuft immer noch unter XP und funktioniert mit der letzten Version von Mednaffe. Ist ja beides nicht selbstverständlich.
Da ich ganz zufällig Virtua Fighter gestern zum ersten Mal via Mednafen erblicken durfte, hab' ich einen ganz guten Vergleich. Die Polygone flackern jetzt wirklich ein bißchen weniger. Dafür gibt's nun Slowdowns und Sound-Stotterer.

Edit: Hab' mir jetzt noch mal ein 2-D- (Golden Axe - The Duel) und ein 3-D-Spiel (Virtua Fighter Remix) für den Saturn angeguckt. Ruckelprobleme hat anscheinend nur besagte Urversion von Virtua Fighter.
