Von Project64, einem Nintendo 64 Emulator für Windows, wurde heute eine Public Release der 2.0 Reihe zur Verfügung gestellt. Weiterhin ist das beta Programm jetzt geschlossen und der Quelltext für jeden Verfügbar.
PJ64 war zuvor seit der Version 1.7 Donationware, dh. nur Unterstützer aka Spender kamen in den Genuss die neuen Versionen zu testen.



Project64 - a Nintendo 64 Emulator for Windows - has been released in a new public 2.0 release. The beta program is now closed. You can now install project64 2.0 and get the clone the source if you want to.
PJ64 was donationware since version 1.7: if you wanted to test, you had to donate money to the developers.

    Sieht trotzdem merkwürdig aus, die zlib.h ist in dieser Version 1.2.5 aber schon im mudlord-code war es 1.2.6 -.- auch der mitgelieferte Direct3D GFX Plugin ist älter als der bei v1.7 - (0.5.03.20 vs. 0.5.03.25).

    Das es danach auch noch dann und wann Releases geben wird, in dem ausgewählten Beta Kreis, der schon besteht, also weiterhin dran gearbeitet wird.
    Außerdem können auch durch Invites, also Einladungen neue Tester hinzugefügt werden.
    Viele hatten nämlich vermutet, dass mit dem Release und den Open Source gehen, das Projekt für zilmar abgeschlossen ist.

    Aber naja, Spatenseiten (will jetzt keine nennen), werden wohl gerade dann ihre nicht funktionsfähigen SVN/GIT Compiles veröffentlichen und im PJ64 Board gibt es dann wieder rumgeheule, warum das oder das im inoffiziellen Release nicht läuft. Wink
