simple64 (ehem. m64p) (mupen64plus + GLideN64 + a GUI) wurde aktualisiert. Es nutzt mupen64plus-gui, ein neues mupen64plus Frontend das in Qt5 geschrieben wurde. Es unterstützt verschiedene Features wie Spielstandverwaltung, pausieren und Screenshots. simple64 beinhaltet das Grafik-Plugin GLideN64.
simple64 (formely known as m64p) (mupen64plus + GLideN64 + a GUI) uses mupen64plus-gui, a brand new mupen64plus frontend written in Qt5. It supports all thing things you’d expect from a frontend (savestate management, pausing, screenshots, etc..). simple64 comes bundled with GLideN64 for the graphics plugin. It should give you the best out-of-the-box experience available for N64 gaming.

Bin wieder reumütig von Version 7.12 zurückgekehrt. Die Performance-Schwierigkeiten sind bei mir mittlerweile größtenteils verebbt, obwohl ich die Option "SynchronousRDP" aktiviert habe. Sogar so was wie GT64 läuft wieder angenehm flüssig. Auch bei anderen Spielen konnte ich meistens keine erwähnenswerten Slowdowns feststellen - auch nicht bei Titeln, die höhere Auflösungen unterstützen. Von dem Spielestapel, den ich getestet habe, hatten bloß Destruction Derby 64 (kein neues Problem) und Automobili Lamborghini (das verblüfft mich jetzt aber doch) arge Ruckler.
Die 64DD-Unterstützung in 9.4 finde ich zwar lobenswert; ich habe aber keine Ahnung, wie man diese Programme in simple64 einlädt. |
