ColEm 4.2.4 for Android, a new version of my ColecoVision emulator, has been released yesterday. The new release improves the replay feature, by adding remaining time display and fixing bugs. I have also made Settings use textured backgrounds, like the rest of the app, since users asked for it. See below for all the changes.

I've released ColEm 4.2 for Windows and Linux last night. This release adds support for multiple monitors on Windows, improves the best full screen mode selection, and fixes flicker that appeared with the recent Win10 updates. The DirectInput support has also been fixed, and you can now use directional pads on the XBox controllers. The Linux version switches to PulseAudio sound, so you no longer need to mess with the OSS sound emulation. Source code is also available. See below for all the changes.

Fixed best full-screen mode detection in ColEm-Windows.
Fixed window flicker that appeared after recent Win10 updates.

Just released ColEm 4.1.2 for Android. This release fixes File Selector getting stuck on the root folder when denied access. This tends to happen in Android 7+. Also, if you do get stuck on some folder, use the "Change Folder" menu option to quickly jump wherever you need to go. See below for all the changes.

Made folder listing error a bit less threatening, since it has become the new normal in Android 7+.
Fixed native crash when processing initial commands sent by Java side.
Fixed crash when loading an invalid skin bitmap file.
I have just updated ColEm for Android to version 4.1, introducing the same changes I have been rolling out in my other emulators over the last two weeks. This release fixes a bunch of possible crashes reported by the newly vigilant Google Play Console. I have also improved support for certain misbehaving gamepads which report trigger buttons as directional axis. Finally, ColEm-Deluxe will no longer ask for the READ_PHONE_STATE permission. That permission was previously used to obtain device IMEI, but I am not using it any more. See below for all the changes.
Hello, All! I have published ColEm 4.0.1 for Android this morning. This release adds HQ4X scaling algorithm and lets you disable GLES linear interpolation for the crystal clear image, if your screen resolution allows it. I have also fixed item dragging in the Layout Editor and made it possible to toggle the title bar there with a screen tap. If you happen to have a gamepad (most ShieldTV users do), the analog triggers will now act as buttons L2/R2 for assignment purposes.
I have just released a new version of my ColecoVision emulator, ColEm 4.0, for Windows and Linux, as well as in source code form. The new release adds support for 64kB+ homebrewn MegaCart games and fixes VDP screen modes 0/3. I have also added options for stretching the window to 4:3 "TV screen" proportions and disabling Direct3D linear interpolation. Finally, I improved MIDI playback and recording and made a bunch of other fixes. See the full list below.
The new ColEm-Android 3.5.3 is now online. This update changes the VRAM access mechanism to make it more realistic with respect to the TMS9918 VDP datasheet. Also, you can now tell ColEm periodically save your gameplay, via "Settings | General | Save Emulation State" selector.
