Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit 5.6

Einigen vielleicht schon lange bekannt, mir bis vor kurzem jedoch nicht. Mit diesem Tool lassen sich diverse Einstellungen vornehmen, um ältere Software auch unter Windows 7 korrekt laufen zu lassen.

Ich habe damit bspw. Heart of Darkness wieder ohne Darstellungsfehler bei den Farben spielen können.

Ist mir auch unbekannt gewesen bisher - da es bei Windows 7 mit der Abwärtskompatibilität nicht immer so rosig ausschaut (und wenn man nach viel Hickhack dann doch mal was an Laufen kriegt, steht man oft mit einer verzerrten AR da), ist das Tool für mich sicherlich einen Versuch wert.

Ich glaub' das gibt's schon seit Windows 2000 Wink. Dort wurde jedenfalls der "Kompatibilitätsmodus" eingeführt.

Dann isses mir schon seit damals unbekannt. Wink "Kompatibilitätsmodus" gehört übrigens auch imho in Anführungsstriche, haste recht.
