Quote: How to use MJavaboy:
1) Cut the rom:
Inside the directory cutRom there is a File called "cut.bat". Edit it to cut a rom at the directory MjavaBoygbRoms.
You need "Java JRE 1.3 or later".
The parts are deposited at the folder MJavaBoyinstorage
2) Launch the emulator:
Copy the folder "MJavaBoyinstorage" to your Mobile folder.
Launch the application MJavaBoy.
3)Controls:
"1" :upLeft.
"2" :up.
"3" :upRight.
"4" :Left.
"6" :Right.
"7" :downLeft.
"8" :Down.
"9" :DownRight.
"5" :start.
"6" :Select.
"Star":A
"Pound":B
4)Works on :
Siemens M55 and later(suposed)
5)Known Bugs:
Graphics dont use Transparencies.
Out of heap Memory error.
All the JavaBoy problems.
Based on the JavaBoy code

This summer I have received MJavaBoy source code and the author agreed releasing it as GPL.
I have started the open source project at sourceforge.net:
http://sf.net/projects/j2meboy
I have not yet advanced in development, if you are a java programmer and want to join, send me a message
I'd like to improve the original MJavaBoy (now called J2meBoy) to extend compatibility and improve performance (a lot of optimizations can be done to the engine) |
