Ist das mit dem Playable Teaser wirklich schon wieder über fünf Jahre her? Was mich anbelangt, war ich nie ein großer Fan der Gothic-Reihe (am längsten beschäftigt hatte ich mich mit Teil II), und mein Pile of Shame ist wirklich so gigantisch, dass mir die Reihe voraussichtlicht für immer verwehrt bleiben wird. Aber ich muss anerkennen, dass die Kritiker- und Nutzerstimmen gegenüber der neuen Demo um einiges wohlfallender ausfallen als gegenüber der alten.

Ja, war auch etwas überrascht, dass es tatsächlich so lange her ist.
Die Demo zeigt, dass das Konzept des Teasers nicht wirklich weiter verfolgt wurde. Die aktuelle Demo zeigt ein Spiel das viel näher am Original ist (positiv: Musik, Look & Feel, Deutsche Synchro | negativ: Animationen, [Kampf-]Steuerung, Script-Bugs).

Es wundert mich, dass die Demo bei der Steuerung nun wieder dem altbackenen Original hinterherrennt, aber vielleicht wirds ja noch geändert - oder es kommt halt in 5-10 Jahren der nächste Versuch...

Zur klassischen Serie hat glaube ich jeden der 2. Teil + Nacht des Raben am meisten beschäftigt^^
Persönlich habe ich Gothik 1 mehrfach und den 2. Teil mindestens zweimal durchgespielt. Nur Gothik 3 habe ich nie komplettiert, das war zum Release unspielbar und sorgte dafür, dass ich auch keine Spielemagazine mehr kaufte (hat sich erst mit der deutschen Retrogamer wieder geändert). Was danach kam (Gothic Arcania und Risen) war mir auch total uninteressant...

Nun ja, immerhin gibt es hier Controller-Unterstützung. Das Kämpfen mit den Pfeiltasten in Gothic I & II hatte mich damals wahnsinnig gemacht!

Risen I - III hatte ich schon säuberlich auf meinen Pile of Shame gestapelt, falls mich doch einmal das Gothic-Fieber packen sollte. Von Arcania (und auch ELEX I & II) waren mir die Kritiken einfach zu durchwachsen, als dass ich je über eine Anschaffung nachdachte.
