Wine ist eine Open Source Implementierung des Windows API für Linux und ist in einer neuen Version erschienen.



Wine, an Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X and Unix, has been updated.

* Better heuristics for making windows managed.
* Automatic detection of timezone parameters.
* Improvements to the builtin WordPad.
* Better signatures support in crypt32.
* Still more gdiplus functions.
* Lots of bug fixes.
