Endlich tut sich mal was im sehr angestaubten Atari 7800 Emulator Bereich. Es gibt einen vollkommen neuen Emulator für Windows von Greg Stanton mit dem Namem ProSystem. Er emuliert sowohl die PAL als auch die NTSC Version und ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Die Kompatibilität ist bereits erstaunlich hoch.

A new emulator for the Atari 7800 has just been released. Programmed by Greg Stanton emulating both PAL and NTSC versions. The emulator is very easy to use and already has a good compatibility.

Ja, nicht schlecht. Muss ehrlich gestehen, habe mir den A7800 deutlich schlechter vorgestellt. Von der Grafik her liegt das Teil zwischen C64 - NES. Die Emulation ist wirklich klasse. Okay, der Sound klingt ein wenig komisch. Hat vielleicht was mit der Hardware zutun.

Ja, aber wohl ein kleiner Zahlendreher in der Versionsangabe. Muss ProSystem v1.0 heissen.
