Hi, when i want to download the latest cvs i get Access forbidden! page. I had no problems before. My computer is behind a Network Adress Translator (like thousands other computers of my Internet Service Provider)

I'm sorry, this was my failure
Some access-rights on the files were mixed up, should be working again.

OK, I keep getting the message at the bottom. I've tried, firefox(win), mozilla(win, lin, sol), explorer(win) and lynx(win, lin, sol), on windows, linux and solaris, from three very different DOMAINS (home connection, my old university in north, and my current university...and always I get that stupid message. I have no firewall, on my PC (I'm behind a router)...

I go to:
http://cvscompile.aep-emu.de/dosbox.htm
and click the download link:
http://aep.emubase.de/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=gimmeemu&lid=881

even tried wget (with very little initial hope)...when I googled I saw other post speaking of the same experince with this site...can't you PLEASE move the CVS to some other site? or at least mirror it?

----
You tried to download a file from AEP Emulation Page, but we couldn't verify that you actually came from AEP.
Possible reasons:
- Someone is using our Downloads - we don't like this, traffic costs money
- Your firewall is blocking your referer - without referer we can't identify you, sorry
Possible solutions:
- If you came here from another page, go to http://www.aep-emu.de and start your download from there.
- If your firewall is blocking your referer, disable referer blocking.
Thanks Smile

You have to download the files directly from our server.
It seems that you are using some firewall which blocks the referer string. Try disabling it.

the optimised builds were broken because i did something wrong Wink
but the links should work now -- if your computer doesn't block the referer string

Unfortunately we had to block access from Russian (and other) IP-Zones because of DOS attacks to our server.

You should only get Access Forbidden, when downloading things from "arcade" and "misc" sections on aep. All other downloads are not blocked for foreign countries. We had to block all countries except DE/AT/CH in those two sections because of heavy abuse and the resulting traffic from that. This is not a permanent solution but is bound to be around for awhile.

Hi, wollte mir nen Emulator downloaden und bekomme auch immer diese Meldung:

You tried to download a file from AEP Emulation Page, but we couldn't verify that you actually came from AEP.
Possible reasons:
- Someone is using our Downloads - we don't like this, traffic costs money
- Your firewall is blocking your referer - without referer we can't identify you, sorry
Possible solutions:
- If you came here from another page, go to http://www.aep-emu.de and start your download from there.
- If your firewall is blocking your referer, disable referer blocking.

Habe keine Firewall an oder sonst irgend nen Proq das blockt.

Würde mich über Hilfe freuen!

Gruß Shunsuke
